Thales Norway has been supplying military and enterprise networks since the mid-1980s and has gained broad experience in its field over the years. At present we are focusing on military communication systems, providing support right across the board for everything from major headquarters to individual infantry soldiers.


 
We focus on systems engineering of complete solutions for our customers, operating on the basis of state-of-the-art commercial civilian and military equipment from the Thales worldwide organisation, outside vendors and systems developed by Thales Norway. Our communication systems aim to enhance the mobility of the army and to remain robust in the face of various threats, hence our use of advanced IP-based solutions coupled with various security mechanisms; all important technical considerations. Our communication systems make use of a variety of methods of transmission, from satellite communications to short range soldier radios for ground troops.
