TCE 671 SMC is a powerful online tool for security management of IP-based networks equipped with Cryptel IP encryption devices. The system can be expanded with the TCE 671 Security Management Centre, or SMC, for comprehensive security management of the secured network. The SMC permits efficient centralised management of distributed Cryptel IP equipment. When combined with the access control feature, this has proven to be an efficient way of controlling network access when network nodes/sites have been compromised, or where suspicion exists that they may have been compromised; particularly if these are deployed on out-of-area operations.
